Different Dick Same Drama
The Different Dick Same Drama Syndrome slapped my cousin dead in her face this past weekend. As soon as I answered the phone I heard that old familiar sick sound in her voice and I knew what the problem was. I felt so bad for her because she is a really great person so why is she so stuck on making a loser into a husband. Okay let me take a deep breathe because just typing this post is making me livid. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Now, if I had a dollar for every man that was on the "come up" I would be a rich woman. Too many times we get so caught up in the ideal "potential husband" that we don't realize how much time we are wasting on the loser we are with. Time is of the essence ladies and the sooner we acknowledge how important our time is the better off we will be. Now let me address another valid point, just because they once listened to our stories, they once made time for us, and they once held our hand just right doesn't mean they will do it again in the future. We owe men nothing and they owe us NOTHING. Trust me, men love the honeymoon stage its that stage that intrigues them the most. Why is this true you ask? Because when the honeymoon stage is over we soon learn about all their shortcomings and their inadequacies...basically why they aren't as good as we earlier thought. Think about the last loser you were with and the first time you heard the following:
1- My credit is not that good
2- My mother wasn't never around
3- Those people at the job don't respect me
4- My last girlfriend was a fool
5- My daughter's mother just wants to take all my money
Look I don't have the time or patience to listen to these ridiculous stories from any man anymore. If I am handling my issues just fine then they should be able to do the same. A man is built by nature to be stronger than a woman so if I can accept this rule its time they accept their responsibilities. For the record, STOP running around chasing someone down to spend time with you. How can I say all this you ask? Because I played the fool for a man and in the end he left my ass anyway. Truth be told I knew he wasn't any good but I was holding on to his "potential". Potential equals I don't have my shit together but if you spend enough money, time and energy on me maybe I can get it together. WHAT????? First major rule for the morning:
In order to get respect you better take it....Plus the only thing open after 11pm at night is legs.
